AceShowbiz - Teddi Mellencamp has voiced her gratitude amid her divorce from Edwin Arroyave. The former star of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" said that she is "grateful" to spend Thanksgiving with her family.
On Thursday, November 28, the 43-year-old reality TV star made use of her Instagram page to share what she is thankful for. In the caption of her post, she penned, "Thankful this painting is still up in my room at home." She went on to write, "Grateful to be here with family. Happy Thanksgiving."
In the post itself, Teddi offered social media users a glimpse of her family painting. The visual art seemingly featured herself, her two sisters and their parents, who were seen sitting down on two separate chairs.
It did not take long for the post to be flooded with positive online responses from Instagram users. Among them was fellow Bravolebrity Kyle Richards, who gushed in the comments section, "This is so great. You and Slate are twins," adding a red heart emoji. Kyle was making a reference to Teddi's 12-year-old daughter Slate, whom she shares with her estranged husband Edwin.
Other Instagram users apparently had similar opinions to that of Kyle. One in particular exclaimed, "You and your oldest are twins !!!" Another chimed in, "Slate is your twin and Dovey is your sisters twin!! Happy Thanksgiving."
The post came amid Teddi's divorce from Edwin. Earlier in November, she shocked many after breaking the news about their split on Instagram, "After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter."
Despite the split, Teddi and Edwin are celebrating Thanksgiving together. In the November 26 episode of his podcast "The Eds", he revealed that they would spend Thanksgiving at her father John Mellencamp's house, a tradition they typically follow.
