AceShowbiz - During the "Dancing With the Stars" finale, judge Carrie Ann Inaba expressed her disappointment with Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson's tennis-themed Freestyle performance. Inaba found the routine underwhelming and criticized the angles and energy.
Her critique drew a strong reaction from Graziadei's fiancée, Kelsey Anderson, who booed loudly and gave Inaba a thumbs down. Graziadei himself admitted to making a mistake during the routine.
Fellow judge Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who is married to Johnson, also took to social media to express his frustration with Inaba's comments. He questioned her criticisms and argued that Graziadei had worked hard for 10 weeks.
Despite Inaba's reservations, fellow judges Derek Hough and Julianne Hough praised Graziadei and Johnson's performance. Derek described it as "phenomenal" and commended their body of work throughout the season.
Anderson was also seen cheering during Derek's positive remarks. Julianne added that the pair "absolutely nailed it." The judges' scores reflected their high regard for the performance, with Graziadei and Johnson receiving a 9 from Inaba, a 10 from Derek, and a 10 from Bruno Tonioli.
Graziadei and Johnson's victory marked the first time a Bachelor had won the show's Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. Graziadei and Anderson have expressed their intention to have Johnson choreograph their first dance as a married couple.
Prior to the finale, Derek praised Graziadei's natural performing ability and versatility. Anderson also shared her admiration for her fiance, highlighting his dedication and kind treatment of others.
