Could T.J. Miller be making a dramatic return to the 'Deadpool' franchise? Despite past tensions, the actor is open to reprising his role, calling Ryan Reynolds 'a good friend.'

AceShowbiz - T.J. Miller previously vowed never to work with Ryan Reynolds again after experiencing what he described as "horrifically mean" behavior from Reynolds while filming the "Deadpool" series. However, in a surprising turn of events, Miller has recently expressed a renewed interest in joining "Deadpool 4."

Miller, known for his role as Weasel in the first two "Deadpool" films, made this revelation during an appearance on SiriusXM's The Bonfire. Recounting a recent conversation with Reynolds, Miller shared, "We talked a little while ago. I think him asking me, I think he's just been such a good friend right now that I think it would be really, I think that would be awesome."

The actor's change of heart comes after a rocky history that includes his very public fallouts. By the time "Deadpool 2" hit theaters in 2018, Miller had faced an array of personal issues, such as an arrest for a fake bomb threat and allegations of sexual assault, both of which he denied.

Initially, Miller told "The Adam Carolla Show" in October 2022 that he would "never work with [Reynolds] again" and remarked on their strained relationship.

However, Miller seems to have had a change of heart. Following his comments, Reynolds reached out to him, and the two cleared the air. "It was really cool, he emailed me the next day," Miller said on SiriusXM's "Jim Norton & Sam Roberts Show". "It was a misunderstanding, so I emailed him back and now it's, like, fine."

As rumors swirl about a possible fourth "Deadpool" film, fans are left wondering if both actors will reunite on screen. While no official announcements have been made, the franchise's latest installment, "Deadpool and Wolverine," smashed box office records as the highest-grossing R-rated movie of all time.

Furthermore, Miller's willingness to make amends isn't limited to Reynolds. He also discussed his repaired relationship with director Michael Bay, after initially criticizing Bay's on-set style during the making of "Transformers: Age of Extinction." Miller now describes Bay as a friend and would be open to future collaborations with the blockbuster director.

The actor's last movie role was in the 2020 film "The Stand In," starring Drew Barrymore. Whether Miller's return to the "Deadpool" franchise materializes or not, it's clear that he is keen to rebuild and maintain professional relationships in Hollywood.

As the "Deadpool" franchise continues to thrive, fans can only hope this potential reunion brings as much on-screen magic as its predecessors.
