AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande's fans were beyond livid after their favorite was snubbed by the Grammy Awards in the wake of the 2025 nominations revelation. Despite her successful seventh album "Eternal Sunshine", the pop star failed to get nominated in the event's main categories, Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Ariana only managed to snag a nomination in Best Pop Vocal Album category with "Eternal Sunshine". Meanwhile the 31-year-old star's hit song "Yes, And?" earned a spot in the Best Dance Pop Recording category. The "Wicked" actress was additionally nominated in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her remix song "This Boy is Mine" with Brandy and Monica.
Upon learning of the nominations, which was released on Friday, November 8, Ariana's fans, known as Arianators, quickly took to social media to express their outrage as "Eternal Sunshine" and "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)" were both snubbed. "ariana grande, one of the few artists to almost entirely write, produce, and sing for her life on a personal, astonishingly constructed concept album. was once again, snubbed," a disappointed fan wrote on X.

Another noted, "we can't be friends by ariana grande was easily the BEST video of the year with absolutely no contenders even coming close, the grammys will pay for snubbing this amazing song from the music video & song categories."
