On Monday, November 4, the 45-year-old Marvel star was out and about in Los Angeles, California. In a series of pictures that made their rounds online, it could be seen that he was strolling around the city with his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, who is currently pregnant with their third child.
Chris was photographed walking close next to Katherine on the side of a street. During the walk, they seemingly had a fun conversation. At one point, the two of them were seen bursting into laughter. The wedded couple appeared to have grabbed coffee together as they had cups of drink in their hands.
The relaxing stroll came after Chris shared his opinion on the forthcoming presidential election. In an essay published on his mother-in-law Maria Shriver's website, he urged fellow Americans to be gracious winners and losers, regardless of the outcome. He also emphasized the importance of finding common ground and helping those in need, regardless of the election results.
"It's ok to take a moment to lick your wounds when you lose. Heck, go ahead and cry in the mirror," the "Jurassic World Dominion" actor wrote. "But if we become too paralyzed by defeat or too pompous in victory, allegiance to our 'team' can blind us to the fact that we are fellow countrymen."
After opening up about his view on the election, Chris found himself in hot water. His neutrality drew ire from opponents who argued that the stakes of the election are too high to remain indifferent. They pointed to the potential consequences of a Trump victory, such as threats to bodily autonomy, equal rights and democracy itself.
