AceShowbiz - Katy Perry entertained Kamala Harris supporters one day ahead of the election day. The "I Kissed a Girl" hitmaker offered energetic performances at the Vice President's rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
On Monday night, November 4, the 40-year-old singer/songwriter made an appearance at the political event, which was attended by many people supporting Kamala and Tim Walz. After the VP gave a speech in front of the packed audience, the songstress stepped on the stage to deliver some of her hits.
Katy kicked off her performances by belting out "Dark Horse", which she released back in 2013. Standing in front of a blue backdrop that came with a huge white "FREEDOM" graphic, she sang, "So you wanna play with magic?/ Boy, you should know what you're fallin' for (you should know)/ Baby, do you dare to do this?/ 'Cause I'm coming at you like a dark horse (like a dark horse)."
"Are you ready for, ready for (ready for)/ A perfect storm, perfect storm? (A perfect storm)," the former "American Idol" judge continued. " 'Cause once you're mine, once you're mine (oh)/ (There's no going back)."
After finishing the song, Katy declared in front of the crowd, "It's my body and my choice." She went on to deliver her 2010 track titled "Part of Me". She sang, "This is the part of me/ That you're never gonna ever take away from me, no/ This is the part of me/ That you're never gonna ever take away from me, no."
For the performances, Katy opted to wear a sleeveless mini dress that was fully covered in sparkling navy blue sequins. The "Teenage Dream" hitmaker completed the look with a pair of dark-colored boots, which were high enough to reach her knees. In addition, she let loose her long black hair that she styled in beach waves. She also had short bangs covering her forehead.
