Netflix releases a first look at the 'Saltburn' actor in the highly anticipated 'Peaky Blinders' movie, capturing the essence of the iconic gangster family.

AceShowbiz - Excitement for the upcoming "Peaky Blinders" movie continues to surge, with Netflix unveiling the first glimpse of Barry Keoghan in costume. The Irish actor, known for his acclaimed performances in "Saltburn" and "The Banshees of Inisherin", embodies the "Peaky Blinders" aesthetic with his flat cap and piercing gaze from within a truck's window.

Keoghan joins an ensemble of new faces gracing the screen alongside the original series cast members, including Cillian Murphy, Stephen Graham and Sophie Rundle. Other newcomers include Tim Roth and Rebecca Ferguson (II).

While the plot remains shrouded in secrecy, creator Steven Knight has hinted at two intertwining stories that will unfold during World War II. The saga's continuation will explore the next generation of the Shelby family, with Murphy's Tommy inevitably taking center stage.

The movie's production has commenced in the United Kingdom, with Tom Harper directing. Returning from the series are Ned Dennehy, Packy Lee and Ian Peck, ensuring continuity with the beloved characters. Jay Lycurgo adds fresh talent to the roster.

Netflix describes the film as an "epic continuation" of the award-winning TV series, promising "No holds barred. Full on 'Peaky Blinders' at war." The cinematic journey will delve into the challenges and alliances forged during a turbulent historical period.
