Ahead of the U.S. presidential election, legendary musicians lend their support to the Democratic nominee at an event, which took place at Temple University's Liacouras Center.

Legend's performance included four songs, including "Ordinary People", "Glory", a cover of "Wake Up Everybody" and his version of "A Change Is Gonna Come". He emphasized the importance of unity and progress, stating, "We face a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to choose something better."
Springsteen followed with a three-song acoustic set, opening with "The Promised Land" and featuring "Land of Hope and Dreams". He closed with a rendition of his iconic hit, "Dancing in the Dark". Springsteen also gave a special nod to Legend, praising his beautiful rendition of "Dancing in the Dark".
In his remarks, Springsteen expressed his belief that the election was about defending the American way of life, criticizing President Donald Trump's lack of understanding of the country's history and values. "Donald Trump doesn't understand this country, its history, or what it means to be deeply American," he said.
Harris has previously enlisted the support of Springsteen and Legend during her campaign. They performed at her rally in Georgia just days prior to the Philadelphia event, where Springsteen referred to Harris as a leader who would fight against tyranny.
The rally also served as Obama's first campaign appearance in Pennsylvania. He used the opportunity to contrast Harris's vision with Trump's, highlighting differences on issues such as the economy, immigration, and abortion. He urged voters to support Harris, even if they did not agree with every decision she would make. "She will see you, she will hear you, she will have your back every single day," Obama said.
Harris expressed her gratitude for the support of Obama, Springsteen and Legend, recognizing their influence and the breadth of her campaign's support. She concluded the rally by emphasizing her determination to visit all battleground states in the final week before the election.
