AceShowbiz - Denzel Washington is not letting anyone treat him without respect. The actor of "The Equalizer 3" was enraged at a group of autograph seekers upon learning that at least one of them made insulting remarks.
On Wednesday night, October 23, the 69-year-old Oscar-winning actor was out and about in New York City. He was caught on camera arriving at the Museum of Modern Art to attend an event, which was held to honor his pal and fellow actor Samuel L. Jackson.
In a video from his arrival that made its rounds online, it could be seen that Denzel was making his way out of his car as he was surrounded by his entourage. While walking, he was called by the autograph hunters. He did not approach them as one unidentified man was trying to tell him something.
Denzel then took his time to pose in front of some photographers. Once he got enough photos, he turned around to greet who appeared to be his co-workers. He was in a good mood, embracing one of them with a big smile on his face. They had a nice conversation before he was about to enter the building.
All of a sudden, Denzel turned around and walked towards the autograph seekers. He could be heard saying "don't" several times before he pointed his finger at one of them. Shocked, another autograph hunted was heard swearing, "Oh, s**t."
Danzel made sure he stood close to the first autograph seeker to tell them that he "heard" what they had just said about him. The actor went on to warn them against disrespecting him. He then retorted, "I said I'll see you when I get out, which part of that don't y'all understand?"
However, their response, which could not be heard clearly, appeared to have enraged Denzel. It did not take long for him to raise his voice and declare, "It's about showing love... or not, or not! we can do it another way... or not, we can do it both ways!" Later on, he left them and headed inside the building.
