AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez's ex Ojani Noa believes that Sean "P. Diddy" Combs was partly to blame for their divorce. When speaking of the end of his short-lived marriage to the Bronx native, the Cuban-born actor claimed that "part of that divorce" was the rapper's "fault."
Ojani opened up about the demise of his marriage to J.Lo on "Despierta America". In the interview that was translated from Spanish to English by Page Six, he said of their split, "Part of that divorce was Diddy's fault."
He explained, "When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy [Diddy], who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album 'On the 6'. That's where the deception, the lies, the separation started."
"I was in Los Angeles opening my restaurant and she was between Miami and New York working on the album," the 50-year-old actor continued. "When I could, I would go to be with her. There, in that distance, in that separation, was where the deception started."
Ojani claimed that the demise of their short-lived marriage marred his career and sabotaged his chance at several jobs. He said, "I would ask Jennifer, 'What did I do to you so that you have taken me to court, you have accused me, you have lied, you have created false things about me and you have called several companies to throw me out and different television networks not to give me work?' "
"Why, if I have not done anything to you? Let her tell the truth, let her tell everything that happened," he added.
J.Lo has not responded to Ojani's claims.
J.Lo was married to Ojani from 1997 until 1998. She later dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001. She is currently going through divorce with her fourth husband Ben Affleck, whom she wed in 2022.
