Music icon Stevie Wonder is using his voice to encourage young people to participate in the upcoming presidential election through the SpeakYourVote movement.

The initiative features a video clip of Wonder saying, "Please be brave enough to speak your vote." It includes a short instrumental song where fans can record their own version using TikTok's "Duet" feature or the "Remix" feature on Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Dr. Shannon Arvizu, founder of Civic Wisdom Foundation, which launched #SpeakYourVote, explained that young people are often discouraged by divisiveness and seek common ground. She believes Wonder's heartfelt track reflects this desire.
According to a press release, the #SpeakYourVote movement highlights the power of approximately 113 million eligible voters from Gen Z and millennials, who represent nearly half of the voting population. The campaign aims to increase voter turnout among these groups by creating a platform that combines art and activism.
Fans can join Wonder's #SpeakYourVote verse challenge by visiting the #SpeakYourVote TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube pages. Wonder has been vocal about his political concerns, recently expressing his views at a Madison Square Garden concert and endorsing Kamala Harris as the next president in a 90-second political ad.
