AceShowbiz - Zendaya Coleman stunned on October 19 at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony in Cleveland, Ohio. Known for her daring fashion choices, Zendaya chose a vintage look from Bob Mackie's 2001 Fall Fashion collection - an exquisite homage to Cher, the legendary "Believe" singer who was inducted into the Hall this year.
The event, held at the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, saw Zendaya don a white satin coat paired with a glimmering gold bodysuit adorned with beads, described by her stylist Law Roach on Instagram, "Fall 2001 Bob Mackie Couture collection, Foreign Intrigue...White silk satin trench coat, with dramatic collar and cuffs, embroidered in gold and diamond iridescent bugle beads and stones." Roach elaborated on the look, adding, "Nude illusion halter-gown, entirely hand-beaded in gold, diamond and iridescent bugle beads and aurora-borialus [sic] stones."
The tribute was fitting as Cher has been Bob Mackie's muse since 1967 when he first dressed her for a guest appearance on "The Carol Burnett Show". During the ceremony, Zendaya and Cher took the stage together, and Cher delivered a performance that highlighted why she remains an enduring icon in the music industry.
Zendaya's ensemble at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony was further enhanced by Christian Louboutin So Kate pumps, diamond studs, a diamond ring, a stack of bangles, and her long hair styled in a straightened look with a deep middle part reminiscent of Cher's iconic hairstyle from the '60s and '70s.
The 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame also honored other music legends such as Mary J. Blige, Dave Matthews Band, A Tribe Called Quest, Kool & the Gang, Foreigner, and Dionne Warwick. It was a star-studded night with memorable fashion and performances, truly celebrating the timeless legacy of rock and roll.
