AceShowbiz - Martha Stewart, the homemaking expert, recently admitted that she cheated on her former husband, Andrew Stewart, during their marriage. In a trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary, "Martha", she advises married women to leave abusive marriages, before quipping about her own infidelity.
"Young women, if you're married and your husband starts to cheat on you, he's a piece of s**t. Get out of that marriage," Stewart said. "Didn't you have an affair early on?" the producer asked, to which she replied, "Yeah, but I don't think Andy ever knew about that."
Celebrating the launch of her 100th book, Stewart revealed that keeping the affair a secret was "very easy." "You have to be circumspect," she told businessman Lee Brian Schrager.
In the documentary, Stewart reflects on her marriage, her rise in the lifestyle industry, and her legal woes. "What does it mean to be the first female self-made billionaire in history?" she asks rhetorically.
Despite her past struggles, Stewart remains resilient. "Getting divorced was a terrible thing for me, but I'm very strong and motivated to get on with life," she said.
In a recent interview, Stewart also criticized the prosecutors in her 2004 criminal case, accusing them of misconduct. "Those prosecutors should've been put in a Cuisinart and turned on high," she said.
Martha Stewart's documentary sheds light on her personal journey and her remarkable resilience in the face of challenges.
