The upcoming third 'Venom' film might be concluding Hardy's run as Eddie Brock, but the actor passionately wishes for a future showdown with Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hardy may be making his final appearance as Venom in the upcoming "Venom: The Last Dance", but he still harbors a desire to see his iconic symbiote character clash with Tom Holland's Spider-Man.

At New York Comic Con, Hardy expressed his eagerness to enter the ring with the wall-crawler, saying, "I would love to fight Spider-Man. I would love to fight him now. I'm happy to fight Spider-Man today, 100 percent."

Despite "The Last Dance" being touted as the conclusion to Hardy's "Venom" trilogy, he remains open to future symbiote-centric films. The recent trailer for "The Last Dance" hints at the introduction of Knull, the evil creator of the Venom symbiote.

"This is just the introduction to Knull. He's a massive, massive character so you can never be one-and-done with him," said director Kelly Marcel. "This is just a little taster of Knull. We get to meet him. What the future holds for him, who knows."

While the "Venom" franchise remains separate from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Hardy's desire for a Spider-Man crossover echoes a mutual interest from Holland himself. In 2016, Holland expressed his eagerness to "kick the crap out of" Venom.

With both Hardy and Holland keen on the showdown, it's possible that their paths could cross in future Marvel projects. Whether it's through "Spider-Man 4", "Avengers: Secret Wars" or a "King in Black" film, there are ample opportunities to witness the epic battle between Venom and Spider-Man.
