AceShowbiz - Victoria Beckham apparently is reading what people write about her. The former Spice Girls singer, who was known as Victoria Adams, covered her legs in a long dress after backlash over her and Nicola Peltz's outfits.
On Tuesday, October 15, the 50-year-old fashion designer took to social media to upload a series of photos from her recent night out. In the new Instagram pictures, it could be seen that she visited Anastasia Soare's home in Beverly Hills.
At the fun meet-up in California, Victoria and the CEO of makeup brand Anastasia Beverly Hills were joined by their respective daughters, Harper Beckham and Claudia Norvina. All of them gathered to celebrate 5 years of Victoria Beckham Beauty.
For the special occasion, Victoria opted to wear a black dress that was long enough to cover her waist down to her ankles. The sleeveless gown, which she paired with a long-sleeved matching cardigan, came with a plunging neckline.
The wife of retired professional soccer player David Beckham completed the look with a pair of black open-toe high heels. She looked stunning with her makeup, including a hot red lipstick. In addition, her shoulder-length hair was parted in the middle.
Victoria decided to cover up for the gathering a few days after being accused of doing a "leg contest" with her daughter-in-law Nicola. On October 11, the former Posh Spice made use of her Instagram page to share some snaps from a Los Angeles event that was held to launch her son Brooklyn Beckham's hot sauce brand Cloud23.
In the photos, Victoria and Nicola were seen putting on leggy displays in their revealing outfits. While Victoria donned a mini dress, Nicola ditched her pants and sported only a bodysuit as well as a pair of see-through tights.
The two garnered criticism over their outfits. One Instagram user blasted them, "This looks like a leg contest. Skinnier and longer... ?? They all look great... but sometimes a picture can look odd. So who won?" Another added, "Victoria doesn't look too happy. I wouldn't be either if my daughter-in-law showed up to my son's event wearing no pants. How distasteful and disrespectful."
