AceShowbiz - There's no doubt that after the release of "CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST" and the subsequent deluxe, "The Estate Sale", fans have been eagerly anticipating a new project from Tyler, The Creator. The album is widely considered his best work to date and one of the strongest LPs of the 2020s. However, since releasing it in 2021, the outspoken artist has focused primarily on performances and interviews, leaving fans in suspense.
Tyler is known for being extremely passionate about his craft and the hip-hop genre overall. Nonetheless, he's been vocal about finding his fans "annoying and weird," particularly when they demand new music. In an interview with Maverick Carter, Tyler expressed that fans often feel entitled to know every detail about his life and career. This sentiment was echoed in a recent Instagram post by his collaborator, Steve Lacy, who wrote, "album this album that what happen to hello?" Tyler resonated deeply with this frustration, commenting, "I feel you s**t is annoying. Especially when I never said out my mouth an album was coming."
Intriguingly, Tyler added fuel to the fire by mentioning a potential career switch, "I wanna be an actress lmfao." Whether this was a jest or a serious consideration, it certainly caught fans' attention. Tyler's upcoming film debut in the A24 production, "Marty Supreme," about a professional ping pong player, suggests that his foray into acting might be more than just a passing thought. Having previously done voice acting for popular cartoons, a new career path in acting isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility.
