AceShowbiz - Newlyweds Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey have reportedly purchased George Clooney's former Los Angeles mansion in Fryman Canyon for $14.5 million, according to TMZ. The expansive 7,000 square-foot estate boasts six bedrooms and offers ample privacy due to its seclusion and dense tree cover.
Beyond its spacious interior, the property includes a sprawling 3.1-acre plot, complete with guest houses, a swimming pool, and a tennis court. George Clooney, a two-time Oscar winner, had owned the home for nearly three decades before selling it to Fleetwood Mac singer Stevie Nicks in 1995 for $2.2 million.
Culpo and McCaffrey's purchase comes after they tied the knot in Rhode Island over the summer. Culpo had previously hinted at expanding their family, joking that she planned to try for children soon after the wedding. The couple has since used the Los Angeles mansion as their main residence during the NFL offseason.
"I realized I really wanted something that felt more calming, like a sanctuary almost," Culpo told Architectural Digest in 2021, describing her desire for a respite from the Hollywood hustle and bustle. She owns another $3.5 million mansion in Encino, Los Angeles.
McCaffrey, meanwhile, listed his former North Carolina estate for $12.5 million earlier this year and sold his Charlotte, NC, condo for $3 million last year. It remains unclear if the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model intends to sell the Encino property.
