AceShowbiz - Ne-Yo's X (formerly Twitter) account keeps posting crypto scam after the singer blamed a hacker for it. On Sunday, September 29, the account posted a tweet encouraging his followers to invest on cryptocurrency just hours after he apologized for similar messages uploaded earlier to his page.

"I just launched $NEYO On @Solana Blockchain," so read the said tweet, along with a picture of the R&B crooner flashing his chest while singing. Adding a link to where people can buy the coins, it said, "It's totally your fault if you dont buy now !"

The eyebrow-raising tweet comes just hours after Ne-Yo apologized for similar tweets, which he claimed were posted by hacker(s). "Hey everyone , i am sorry for everything that was posted on my X account in these days , account was hacked and they was trying to get money from people," he wrote earlier on Sunday.

He even responded to a fan who joked that he might be getting into crypto scam business because he's hitting "a new low." The fan wrote, "I was thinking not Ne-Yo scamming crypto now!!!!!! He's hit a new low." The singer replied, "i am definetly out of that , thinked to hold some of these but nah."

Another admitted that they almost fell for it, penning, "Oh s**t. I considered looking into it too. That's crazy." A third said, "Yeah, I was like Ne-Yo selling selling s**t now??? I was actually bumping Lazy Love when I saw the post."

"i wasn falling for it but glad you're back," a fourth commented, and a fifth added, "Thanks for letting us know man I figured it wasn't you."

However, some others expressed their concerns that Ne-Yo might not have taken full control of his account back following the latest tweet. "Not sure if he's back coz the post about crypto came just after he announced that the account was hacked and deleted all the posts, then we saw crypto post now this....are u sure... anyway okay," someone noted.

Another wondered, "How do we believe that this isn't the hacker's post and dude's not currently trying to recover his account?"

Ne-Yo has not removed the latest tweet after it was posted three hours ago.
