AceShowbiz - Foo Fighters have canceled their headline performance at the upcoming Soundside Music Festival, leaving festival organizers scrambling for a replacement. The news of Foo Fighters' cancellation comes just two days before the festival is set to begin.
The band released a statement on their official Instagram account, saying, "Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend's Soundside Music Festival. Please check the festival website for more information."
The statement did not explain the reason for the cancelation. However, it comes just two weeks after frontman Dave Grohl revealed on his personal Instagram account that he had fathered a child outside of his marriage to Jordyn Blum.
Soundside Music Festival will take place on Saturday and Sunday, September 28 - 29 in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Noah Kahan is set to headline the first night. The loss of Foo Fighters has prompted festival organizers to replace them with Jack White and Greta Van Fleet as co-headliners.
This was Foo Fighters' only scheduled upcoming performance. The band last performed together on August 18 at Seattle's T-Mobile Park.
