AceShowbiz - The Combs remain solid amid the patriarch's legal drama. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs reportedly has still got his children's back despite his September 16 arrest in New York for alleged sex crimes and mounting allegations leveled at him.
Sources familiar with the situation told TMZ on Tuesday, September 25 that all of the rapper's seven children are supportive of him and stand behind him. They love their dad and think he's a great father regardless of how he has been portrayed by the media and his accusers.
Diddy's sons and daughters are said to have wonderful relationships with him and will continue to maintain those relationships, although he's currently held behind bars. His twin daughters Jessie and D'Lila are reportedly keeping their father in their daily prayers and remain hopeful he will be released from jail. They allegedly have not read the indictment and have no plans in doing so.
Diddy's sons Quincy Jones, Justin Combs and Christian a.k.a. King Combs were seen in New York when the embattled music mogul entered his not guilty plea and was denied bail twice. Meanwhile, the twins are reportedly hanging back in California under the care of their late mother Kim Porter's longtime friend Lala.
The Combs children's stance on their father's arrest is revealed as he faces another lawsuit by a woman, who accused the 54-year-old and his head of security, Joseph Sherman, of raping her and filming it in 2001. Thalia Graves, who is represented by Gloria Allred, held a news conference on Tuesday in Los Angeles, just hours after she filed the lawsuit.
Thalia immediately broke down in tears as she detailed the physical and emotional trauma that she suffered since the alleged rape. "It's a pain that reaches into your very core of who you are," she told the press. She wiped her tears away as she further explained how the "shame" and "guilt" she still feels affects her ability to "function properly."
In the lawsuit, Thalia said she was dating one of Bad Boy Records executives when Diddy lured her to his recording studio Daddy's House in New York City. She alleged that Diddy had her a drink "likely laced with a drug that eventually caused her to briefly lose consciousness."
When she woke up, Thalia said she found herself bound and restrained and the two men proceeded to rape her. She never reported the alleged incident out of fear of retaliation from Diddy, whom she said threatened her.
Thalia said her trauma was brought back in November 2023 after learning that Diddy and Joseph allegedly recorded her "horrific rape." She claimed they showed the tape to numerous other men to humiliate and degrade her.
Diddy was arrested at the Park Hyatt New York hotel after he was indicted by a grand jury. He is charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. He remains held behind bars at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn until his trial.
