After Tempo Music Investments accused Miley of 'intentionally copying' Bruno Mars' song, it is said that the songstress is 'worried' to publicly reveal the inspiration behind her hit.

AceShowbiz - Miley Cyrus' biggest fear involving her former husband Liam Hemsworth has been revealed. After she was slapped with a lawsuit over her hit "Flowers", it has been reported that the "Wrecking Ball" hitmaker is "worried" to confirm that the actor is the inspiration behind her song.
Speaking to Daily Mail on Tuesday, September 17, a source spilled, "Miley is not too concerned with the lawsuit itself, but everyone who knows Miley knows that this track was written as a way of healing from Liam. She wrote lyrics that were a reaction to Bruno Mars' lyrics [on 'When I Was Your Man'], specifically because that was Liam's song to her. She only cared that he knew it was for him."
The insider went on to say, "Miley originally wrote it as a slow love ballad not the fast upbeat song that it became." The insider shared, "She is worried that she will have to reveal her inspiration for writing the song. While she has no issue stating it was a response to Bruno, revealing it was specifically about Liam publicly and on record is very unsettling."
"At this point she is just seeing how this plays out and is hoping it gets tossed out before any of that becomes a real possibility," the informant continued, before adding that Miley was "so focused on making these digs at Liam over his alleged affair and that overshadowed anything else."
The revelation came shortly after it was reported that Miley, who ended her marriage to Liam allegedly due to his infidelity, is being sued by Tempo Music Investments over copyright infringement. In court documents, the company accused the 31-year-old Grammy-winner of "intentionally copying" Bruno Mars' song "When I Was Your Man".
Tempo Music, which claimed that "it owns a share of the copyright for [the] Bruno's song," alleges that "there are so many musical similarities between Miley's 'Flowers' and Bruno's 'When I Was Your Man' that it's obviously the result of Miley 'intentionally copying' Bruno," adding "the melody, harmony and chorus [on] 'Flowers' are substantially similar to the verse [on] 'When I Was Your Man'."
