During his appearance, Hemsworth explained that his son Tristan's self-cut hair inspired Sasha to request a similar style. The result was a unique hairstyle featuring even-length hair from the front to the sides and a longer back section. Sasha's look also incorporated shaved sides.
Host Jimmy Kimmel noted the trend of such haircuts in Australia, which Hemsworth confirmed, describing it as a combination of "a bowl cut plus a mullet."
Inspired by his sons' haircuts, Hemsworth welcomed audience member Liam onto the stage, who volunteered for a hair transformation. Hemsworth meticulously cut Liam's hair, using a metal bowl as a guide and keeping the audience entertained with his commentary.
As the haircut progressed, Kimmel quipped that the style resembled both Dorothy Hamill and Jim Carrey's "Dumb and Dumber" look. Hemsworth admitted that he had never cut hair in front of an audience before.
