Recently, the 27-year-old songstress attended the fashion event that was held in New York City. When catwalk models were walking down the runway to show off the clothing brand's collection, she sat on her seat next to the 31-year-old English singer.
During the event, Camila and Zayn were caught on camera having a seemingly fun conversation. At one point, he was spotted telling something to her, who struggled to understand what he was saying. She eventually bursted into laughter after he explained something to her ear.
The rare moment was documented in a 9-second video, which was shared via X, formerly known as Twitter, on Sunday, September 8. It prompted X users to share their opinions on Camila hanging out with Zayn. In the replies section of the tweet, some users showed that they disliked her chatting with him, telling her to "stay away" from him. One in particular stated, "NOOOOOOOOOO STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"
Another, in the meantime, argued that Camila and Zayn, who left their respective music groups Fifth Harmony and One Direction, were talking about what they have in common.
