Gillan is expecting her first child with her husband, writer and comedian Nick Kocher, whom she married in May 2022. She graced the red carpet at Toronto International Film Festival premiere in a radiant yellow bodycon dress, paired with perspex heels.

The actress has not disclosed the gender of her baby. She and Kocher exchanged vows in a glamorous ceremony at Castle Toward near Dunoon in Argyll, with family and friends arriving in a luxury superyacht.

Gillan revealed that she initially reached out to Kocher on social media after finding him on the recommended friends list. Despite not initially responding to her message, Kocher eventually connected with her on Instagram.

Gillan, who has a massive social media following of 7.8 million followers on Instagram, has yet to announce her pregnancy on social media. Her fans have been eagerly awaiting news of her personal life.

In her latest film "The Life of Chuck", Gillan stars alongside another Marvel star Tom Hiddleston, "Star Wars" actor Mark Hamill as well as Chiwetel Ejiofor and Jacob Tremblay. Directed by Mike Flanagan, the movie is adapted from Stephen King's story.
