Global music icon The Weeknd unveils details about his upcoming album, 'Hurry Up Tomorrow', the final installment in a visionary trilogy, alongside live events and philanthropic initiatives.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd, also known as Abel Tesfaye, has officially announced the release of his highly anticipated new album, "Hurry Up Tomorrow". This momentous project marks the culmination of his critically acclaimed trilogy of studio albums, following "After Hours" (2020) and "Dawn FM" (2022).
According to Tesfaye, "Hurry Up Tomorrow" explores existential and self-referential themes, building upon the visionary storytelling of its predecessors. In an interview with Billboard Brazil, he revealed that the album contains a "central song" nicknamed "Frankenstein," due to its sonic fusions that nevertheless maintain the essence of the record.
Alongside the album release, The Weeknd has launched "The Weeknd: Nightmare Trilogy" at Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights. This immersive horror adventure, running from September 5th to November 3rd, invites fans to experience a thrilling journey inspired by the artist.
On September 7, The Weeknd will perform a sold-out concert at Estadio Morumbi in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The performance will be livestreamed on YouTube, showcasing stunning visuals and chart-topping hits. In a gesture of generosity, 10% of the net proceeds from merchandise sales will be donated to the Brazilian Soul Fund of BrazilFoundation, supporting communities in southern Brazil affected by hardships.
Tesfaye has hinted at facing "the abyss" in the lead-up to the album's release. He explained, "It can mean many things. For me, it is something very specific... I faced it long enough. Most of the time, I overcame it. But I work on it every day."
