AceShowbiz - If Lizzo's dramatic physical transformation isn't already evident in her latest social media posts, it's now revealed how much she has dropped following her weight loss journey. According to a new report, the hip-hop star has shed more than 60 pounds.

A music industry source tells Life & Style that the 36-year-old raptress, who was openly proud of being obese, has shed more than 60 pounds from her 5-foot-10 frame. After once tipping the scales at 308 pounds, she's now said to be down to 240 pounds.

Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Viviane Jefferson, began her weigh loss journey as she admitted that she was tired of "being the butt of the joke every single time because of how I look." The "Truth Hurts" hitmaker, who has long preached how people shouldn't be ashamed of their bodies, told the New York Times in March, "I'm taking some time every day to put love into my body. There's never a day when I regret taking a walk or doing some Pilates."

Despite her stunning transformation, there were some critics who took issue with the change Lizzo has undergone. They said she betrayed her own "unhealthy standards" supposedly promoting being "out of shape" and claimed she is only getting fit because of cyberbullying.

"Nothing really changed. She's the same size," someone questioned Lizzo's progress after she shared workout videos. Others claimed the "bullying" she's often subjected to "worked" and some were even convinced the "South Park" episode that references her was her sole motivation to get fit.

Lizzo's weight loss has also sparked speculation that she took the anti-obesity medication, Ozempic. "Ozempic at work," a user commented on Instagram under one of the Grammy winner's photos, reflecting similar sentiments from several others.
