AceShowbiz - Lady Gaga's highly anticipated seventh album, "LG7", is scheduled for release in February 2025. According to her Vogue cover story, the untitled album will be accompanied by an undisclosed "surprise project."

In an interview with the magazine, Gaga revealed that the album emerged from a period of pain and self-discovery. "There's a lot of pain associated with this adventure... When I start to explore that pain, it can bring out another side to my artistry," she said.

Following the success of her "Joanne" album and "A Star Is Born" soundtrack, Gaga has spent the majority of 2024 recording both LG7 and the enigmatic surprise project. Her fiancé, Michael Polansky, played a pivotal role in her decision to return to her pop roots. "Michael is the person who told me to make a new pop record," she said.

He confirmed it, "I encouraged her to lean in to the joy of it. On the Chromatica tour, I saw a fire in her; I wanted to help her keep that alive all the time and just start making music that made her happy."

The album's first untitled track is described as an "intense and ominous" banger that evokes Gaga's earlier work. Gaga also shared that she feels "so happy" and healthy now, a departure from the challenging period leading up to her Chromatica era. "That album was about a horrible time for me with my mental health," she explained.

The Chromatica tour marked a turning point for Gaga, as she performed pain-free after years of fibromyalgia struggles. Embracing a healthier lifestyle and her love for Polansky has inspired the upcoming album.

Gaga emphasized that the album reflects her current state of happiness and her focus on prioritizing her and Polansky's creative output. "It's really different than doing what other people want you to do," she said.
