In a newly-published interview, the 'Girls in the Hood' raptress discusses her approach to diss tracks and reflects on her public feud with nemesis Nicki Minaj.

AceShowbiz - Megan Thee Stallion expressed confidence in her position in hip-hop, believing that being targeted by other artists like Nicki Minaj, Drake and Eminem signifies her success.

In a recent Billboard cover story, the "Savage" rapper said, "If people feel like I'm somebody to aim at, then I must be pretty high up if you're reaching up at me." She added, "That makes me feel good. That makes me feel like I could rap because if I wasn't the s**t, y'all wouldn't be worried about me."

Megan first became the subject of Drake's diss on his song "Circo Loco" in 2022, which appeared to reference the shooting incident in which Tory Lanez injured her. Eminem's "Houdini" and Minaj's "FTCU" also contained similar references. In response, Megan released "Hiss". which included the line, "These h**s don't be mad at Megan/ These h**s mad at Megan's Law." Minaj subsequently released "Big Foot", perceived as a direct response to Megan's mention of her husband's criminal history.

Despite the diss tracks, Megan expressed uncertainty about the root of her feud with Minaj. "I still to this day don't know what the problem is," she said. "I don't even know what could be reconciled because I, to this day, don't know what the problem is."

Megan also revealed a shift in her perspective, stating that she now prioritizes her own happiness and no longer allows others' feelings to dictate her actions. "Everything was about making other people smile and other people happy," she said. "Now I'm in a space where I want to be happy. I'm not going to take away [from] being happy so I can put other people's life and happiness as a priority over mine."
