AceShowbiz - Prince Harry's alleged stance about returning to royal duties is revealed. If a new report is to be believed, the Duke of Sussex is not planning to return until Prince William issues an apology to him.
Sources close to Harry claimed to the Mirror that the father of two is happy with his decision to quit his royal role. However, he's open to "help out" the Firm in a temporary role if his father, King Charles, asks him to.
The new report came after Harry and William reunited briefly when they attended the funeral of their uncle, Lord Robert Fellowes, last month. Sources reported that the brothers arrived "very discreetly" at St. Mary's Church in Snettisham, Norfolk, but they sat separately and did not interact.
Another royal insider previously noted that the rift with the Prince of Wales is "very bad." However, the informant claimed that it's not entirely "irreparable."
Meanwhile, another report claimed that King Charles turned to God to help him find answers regarding his tension with the Duke of Sussex. Daily Mail reported that the British monarch had taken "spiritual nourishment" from meetings with faith leaders. They reportedly suggested Charles was ready to apply the tenets of those religions to his estrangement with Harry.
"Faith has always been a part of Charles's life and something he's explored, but since becoming king it is playing a more central role," the source explained. "That reliance on faith and quiet contemplation has become a comfort and asset to him and helps him cope with the role as he adapts to being king."
The source further divulged, "Charles misses his son. He still loves Harry and wants him back for personal reasons, regardless that he and [Meghan Markle] do not [want to] return to royal life. Harry will always be Charles' much-loved son."
"He has faith that Harry could return. He misses the bond they once had, and the door will always remain open to him and his family. He does not want years of discord and disharmony clouding his reign," the informant added.
