AceShowbiz - Nikki Bella's (Nikki Garcia) twin Brie Bella (Brie Garcia) allegedly begged her sister to leave her husband Artem Chigvintsev after he was arrested for domestic violence last week. It was said that Brie was "disgusted" by the news of the pro dancer's arrest.
"Nikki's sister Brie is disgusted, shocked, disappointed and just sad that this happened," a source told Daily Mail of former WWE star Brie. "She loves Artem, and for this to be going down is so out of the realm of possibility of the person who she knows. Brie is very concerned about it all and is there for her sister at all costs."
The insider further claimed that Brie, being the closest to Nikki, "is telling her to leave Artem, if this is as bad as it seems, and if it happened before, once she finds out everything that happened, she will be the first to tell Nikki to leave him."
The new report also alleged that Nikki and Artem have been facing troubles in their marriage. Despite that, Nikki and her family were shocked by the "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer's violent outburst. "One thing Nikki never showed was the verbal troubles that she had with Artem," the source divulged. "They wouldn't treat each other very nice and they never built on a friendship."
"Their sole focus has been on their son and not on each other. That caused arguments, but as far as everyone knows it never got physical," the insider continued. "Family and friends are very surprised things got physical, but they're not exactly surprised that they were having trouble, it just seemed like normal relationship issues to outsiders."
A rep for Nikki previously broke silence over the matter. "This is a private matter, and Nikki asks for privacy for her and her family at this time," the rep told Us Weekly.
Artem was arrested on charges of felony corporal injury to spouse in Napa Valley, Calif., around 10 A.M. local time on Thursday, August 29. He was released after posting a $25,000 bond.
