AceShowbiz - Boosie Badazz (Lil Boosie) has a special request for Kamala Harris and Donald Trump. The "Wipe Me Down" rapper begged the two presidential candidates to pardon him in his gun case if either of them wins the election.
The 41-year-old made his plea on X, formerly Twitter, on Saturday, August 31. "MY CASE GOT DISMISSED FOR A RULING THAT WAS MADE N THE 9th CIRCUIT COURT," he began. "2 WEEKS LATER THE RULING GETS VACATED. SMH SOON AS I CELEBRATE THE LAW IS VACATED GTFOH I GOT SOME POWERFUL PEOPLE WHO HATE ME WITH EVERY BONE N THEY BODY."
"I WAS SENT TO PRISON FOR 10 YEARS FOR 3rd MARIJUANA. FOR BEING A USER LOL NO REHAB ,NO PROBATION SENT STRAIGHT TO PRISON. AT THIS POINT I NEED A PARDEN FROM WHOEVER WINS," the emcee continued. He also tagged both the vice president and the former POTUS.
Boosie's gun case stems from June 2023 when he was arrested in San Diego while exiting a courtroom after just having a separate gun case tossed by the court. The charge was dismissed, but just less than two weeks later, he got re-indicted.
Upset by the news, Boosie launched into a public rant via X. "IM ON VACATION WITH MY FAMILY MY LAWYER CALL ME N SAY THIS FEDERAL PROSECUTOR M. WHEAT HAS INDICTED ME AGAIN ON THE SAME CHARGE N ADDED A CHARGE THAT I WAS A DRUG ATTACK AROUND. A ATTACK AROUND A FIREARM SMH," he fumed in a July post.
"WHY YOU DIDNT CHARGE ME WITH THAT THE FIRST TIME? THE JUDGE HAS RULED. AT THIS POINT YOU MAKING THIS A CIRCUS. THIS HAS TO BE UNCONSTITUTIONAL," he further argued. "THIS SHOWS HOW FAR THESE DEVILS WILL GO TO TRY N STOP A SUCCESSFUL BLACK MAN WITH a VOICE .THIS MAN HAS A SERIOUS VENDETTA OF HATE AGAINST ME .HE WANTS TO BE A CHARACTER N A [movie] HE JUST DOESNT RESPECT THE COURTS."
