AceShowbiz - "FBI" is bidding farewell to a series regular in season 7. Katherine Renee Kane, who has portrayed Special Agent Tiffany Wallace since season 3, is set to depart the show. She is expected to appear in at least one episode before her character's exit.
Tiffany's departure comes after a tumultuous season for the agent, marked by her determination to avenge the death of her colleague, Trevor Hobbs (Roshawn Franklin). The season 6 finale saw Tiffany take down terrorist Hakim Siran (Antwayn Hopper), a case that left a lasting impact on her.
Behind the scenes, "FBI" has also undergone changes. Rick Eid, who served as showrunner since the series' inception, has stepped down after season 6. Mike Weiss has replaced him as showrunner and executive producer.
Additionally, the show will welcome a new series regular in season 7, Lisette Olivera as Syd, a Behavioral Analysis Unit agent transitioning to field work. Syd will become Special Agent Scola's (John Boyd) new partner.
Returning cast members include Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana de la Garza and Kane. The series continues to be executive produced by Dick Wolf, Alex Chapple, Amanda Slater, Joe Halpin, Arthur W. Forney and Peter Jankowski.
"FBI" season 7 is set to premiere on Tuesday, October 15, at 8/7c on CBS. The three-part "FBI" franchise, including "FBI: International" and "FBI: Most Wanted", will once again dominate Tuesdays on the network.
