AceShowbiz - Amber Rose has broken her silence on rumors that she's involved in crypto scam, which allegedly motivated her decision to support Donald Trump. Catching wind of the reports, the model has denied that she's in trouble and that she endorses the Republican presidential nominee because she needs to get pardoned.
On Tuesday, June 6, the 40-year-old took to her Instagram Story to set things straight on the rumors. "So recently I read comments that the only reason I endorse Trump is because I'm in trouble for a crypto scheme and I want Trump to pardon me," she began addressing the matter calmly, while music was playing in the background. "That's absolutely ridiculous."
"I've never been in trouble in my entire life. I've never broken the law. I am a law abiding citizen and I'm a sweetheart. So, I'm not out to scam people. I've never scammed anyone in my life," the former girlfriend of Kanye West claimed.
Calling out those who spread the rumors, the mother of two continued, "And just stop guys, it's corny. Just come to the terms that Trump is gonna win and he's the best for our country. I don't need to get pardoned for s**t." She went on concluding her message, "So...to the rest of you, I love you guys. And to the people that are trying to just make up s**t, you are so f**king weird."
Rose, who founded the SlutWalk, a feminist movement against slut-shaming and sexual assault, surprised many when she publicly endorsed Trump in May. On July 15, she even appeared at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she explained how she came to her decision to support Trump.
However, not everyone was convinced that she sincerely supports the former president. Some Internet speculators claimed that the model has been accused of promoting and selling crypto scams, and that there is a federal investigation into her activities.
Linking Rose's alleged possible legal woe, a user on X, formerly Twitter, said that this might be the reason why she is endorsing Trump, who has a history of helping out people in legal trouble, just like he did for Kodak Black. The TV personality's political endorsement was believed to be her way to secure favor from the former president should things go south for her.
