AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck's alleged split could turn ugly. If a new report is to be trusted, the pop diva is taking "revenge" on her husband by seeking half of his $150 million fortune after picking up most of the tab during their relationship.
Per RadarOnline.com's report on Tuesday, July 9, cheapskate Ben "always grumbled about spending money," so his wife ponied up to avoid having to listen to his complaining about her over-the-top spending. "One of the little-known secrets is Jennifer paid for much of their marital expenses and now she feels he owes her," a so-called insider said.
"She's adding up all those private jet bills she puts on her plastic, the hotels and meals, clothes, coffee runs, gas," the source detailed. "The high cost of living was done on her dime. She paid the lion's share for that $60 million mansion they bought, too."
"Ben took so much money out of her, at least that's what she's saying," the informant added. But the fallout of their marriage has made the 54-year-old singer/actress realize how much the "Gone Girl" star "mooched" off her and she's out for recompense.
"She's demanding a full inventory of what she spent versus what he spent and wants all the money back she 'invested,' " another tipster spilled. "She isn't the one who gave up on their marriage and she's feeling seriously burned and is out for blood."
"If he had stayed in the marriage like a good boy, she wouldn't have minded," the second source claimed. "But he abandoned her and ultimately, Jennifer always gets payback and now she's ready to play hardball."
J.Lo reportedly plans to take half of Ben's $150M fortune despite being worth $400M herself after spending the 4th of July weekend away from the actor/filmmaker. She was spotted in New York with her child Emme, while he stayed in the West Coast.
A source told PEOPLE that the "Atlas" star "has seemed happy and peaceful during her week in the Hamptons." The source added, "She doesn't appear upset at all." During her time in the Hamptons, she was photographed shopping for plants with her manager Benny Medina, having lunch at Sant Ambroeus East Hampton and going for a bike ride with her friend and longtime vocal coach Stevie Mackey.
Meanwhile, Ben has been focused on work. On Tuesday, he looked happy when he arrived to his Los Angeles office. Despite spending time apart from each other, Ben and J.Lo kept wearing their wedding rings.
