AceShowbiz - Paul Walter Hauser has expressed remorse for his recent comments about Vin Diesel, which he labeled as "mean-spirited." During a press interview for his film "Inside Out 2", Hauser criticized Diesel without having met him and relied on hearsay.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, July 7, Hauser acknowledged that fatigue and exhaustion had contributed to his careless statement. He had flown from Atlanta to Los Angeles with minimal sleep and was overwhelmed by the press day.
Hauser emphasized that his criticism stemmed from reports he had heard from multiple sources, but he now realizes that it was inappropriate to make such accusations publicly. He apologized for "shooting his mouth off" and not showing respect towards Diesel.
Hauser also revealed that he is a Christian and believes in loving others, not trying to "right a wrong." He further stated that he needs to do a better job of being positive and not using his platform to belittle others.
The actor ended his apology by tagging Diesel on Instagram and thanking him for entertaining and making people happy. He expressed his intention to do the same in his work.
As of now, Diesel has not publicly addressed Hauser's comments or apology.
