AceShowbiz - Pete Davidson and Madelyn Cline are no longer an item. The "Saturday Night Live" alum and the "Outer Banks" star reportedly called it quits after less than a year of dating.
Revealing the pair's relationship status was The U.S. Sun. "They ended things fairly recently, and I understand it was amicable," a source told the outlet.
It remains unclear when exactly Pete and Madelyn parted ways. However, the couple hadn't been seen together publicly since January when the actress attended one of the comedian's stand-up shows.
Pete and Madelyn sparked dating rumors in September 2023, a few weeks after the comic reportedly split from his ex Chase Sui Wonders. Their breakup came in the wake of Pete checking himself into rehab after struggling with borderline personality disorder and PTSD.
It was reported that Madelyn was not looking for "anything serious" with Pete. "Madelyn anticipates her current relationship with Pete as just a good time and it will not be her last one. She thinks he is hilarious, and fun and she is all about hanging out with him. But she is 25 and she doesn't want anything serious, she wants to chase fun," a source told DailyMail.com.
"And she thinks Pete thinks the same and their relationship is all about having a good time. It is in no way serious, she is taking it day by day," the insider continued. "And that is all that works for her right now, Pete shouldn't expect her to be his soulmate, she is not giving off those vibes."
However, in November, it was unveiled that Pete had introduced Madelyn to his family. "Pete's mom and sister think Madelyn is lovely. They're very happy for Pete," a source told Us Weekly. at the time.
"Things are going really well with Madelyn and Pete, but they're trying their best to keep a low-key romance," the source added. "They have both dated people in the public eye before and are trying to maintain more privacy this time around."
