AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift has surprised fans with a new "1989" outfit at her Amsterdam show. However, Swifties were divided upon seeing the ensemble, which debuted Thursday evening, July 4.

When hitting the stage at the Johan Cruyff Arena, the 34-year-old megastar rocked a sparkling blue crop top and red-orange skirt. The Grammy-winning musician, who was performing her hit "Style" when showing off her new outfit, completed her look with a blue shoe on the right and a yellow shoe on the left.

Dutch fans were impressed, assuming that Taylor paid homage to the Netherlands with the outfit. "Blue and orange are Dutch colors," one person wrote in a comment section on TikTok. For the record, the Dutch flag was originally blue, white, and orange, with red eventually replacing orange on the ensign.

However, others believed that it was a part of Taylor's Fourth of July outfit. It was one of the singer's favorite holidays.

When celebrating America's Independence Day last year, Taylor partied up wit her friends. In one of the snaps posted on Instagram, she and BFF Selena Gomez were posing on the grass along with their pals Este Haim, Danielle Haim, Alana Haim, stylist Ashley Avignone and Sydney Ness.

The second slide included photo collage that featured the girls having fun while enjoying drinks and singing in the kitchen. Taylor was also pictured hugging Selena from behind, while another snap showed the two stars licking the same popsicle.

The third slide featured a solo shot of Taylor sitting with the background of the calm water. "Happy belated Independence Day from your local neighborhood independent girlies," she wrote in the caption, adding, "See you tonight Kansas Cityyy."
