AceShowbiz - Jennifer Garner has reportedly removed herself from the drama surrounding Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez's troubled marriage. The actress is said to be done being a marriage "counselor" to her ex-husband and his current wife amid their alleged marital woes.

Insiders tell Daily Mail that the "Alias" alum was acting as a counselor to Affleck and Lopez, but she has since stepped back from the "circus" surrounding her ex-husband and his current wife's marriage because it has unearthed "painful" memories for the actress.

"Jen eventually got to a place where she was like, 'Sorry, figure this out yourself,' " one insider tells the U.K. new outlet. "It was beginning to become too painful for her because it was bringing back so many memories of their divorce."

Garner and Affleck, who share three kids, Violet, 18, Finn, 15, and Samuel, 12, were married in 2005, but announced their decision to split in 2015. Their divorce was finalized in October 2018.

While Garner has been in a relationship with businessman John C. Miller since 2018, Affleck rekindled his romance with his ex-fiancee Lopez in 2021. They got married in a Las Vegas ceremony in July 2022 and hosted a larger celebration for family and friends at Affleck's Georgia house later that summer.

However, their wedded bliss was quickly over as in May, it was reported that they were living apart. Affleck has been staying in a rental house in Brentwood as he and Lopez are reportedly quietly selling their $60 million Beverly Hills home, which they share and purchased only one year ago. He allegedly also moved all of his belongings out of their marital mansion while she was away for a vacation in Italy.

A source recently told Page Six that the pair's marriage has been over for months. They reportedly have been apart since March, but the Oscar-winning filmmaker is "very protective" of the "Atlas" star.
