AceShowbiz - Ever since Gunna's release through an Alford plea deal in the high-profile YSL RICO trial, questions have surrounded his connection to the YSL label and his relationship with Young Thug, who remains incarcerated. In a recent episode of Spotify's "RapCaviar", Gunna clears the air once and for all.

With Young Thug in the midst of a complicated and lengthy RICO trial, Gunna's December 2022 release on an Alford plea has been a focal point of discussion. The plea allowed Gunna, born Sergio Kitchens, to maintain his innocence while pleading guilty to a single charge. Gunna emphasized, "I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way."

Despite the legal chaos, Gunna remains unwavering in his loyalty to Young Stoner Life Records. In his own words, "I'm still signed to YSL, I'm still providing. We still pushing. No paperwork has been changed. So it's like, whatever's been getting and how we've been pushing this s**t, it's still going." His statement was a clear message to fans and industry insiders that his affiliation with YSL is as strong as ever.

The 31-year-old also gave fans a glimpse into his daily life in Atlanta, where he enjoys family breakfasts, gym sessions, and hanging out with friends. Amidst the everyday hustle, Gunna is focusing on his next musical project, hinting at a potential "love album" inspired by romance and intimacy. "I might do this love album... Not all just love songs, but a pocket of songs [that are] more intimate songs," he shared.
