The family of Jeffrey Dahmer' victim, Tony Hughes, condemns Ariana Grande and urges her to apologize for wanting to have dinner with the notorious serial killer.

AceShowbiz - Ariana Grande's recent admission that serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer was her "dream dinner guest" has sparked outrage from the family of one of Dahmer's victims.

Shirley Hughes, Tony Hughes' mother, expressed her disgust at Grande's comments. Tony, who was deaf and non-verbal, was killed and dismembered by Dahmer in 1991. "To me, it seems like she's sick in her mind. It's not fancy or funny to say you would have wanted to do dinner with him. It's also not something you should say to young people, which she says she did," she told TMZ.

Shirley added that Grande laughing during her confession was particularly disturbing. She urged the singer to understand the pain her comments caused and believed an apology from Grande is warranted.

Tony's sister, Barbara, echoed her mother's sentiments, saying that Grande's remarks glamorized a killer and made light of the families' suffering. Barbara also called for an apology from the Grammy winner.

Grande made the controversial revelation on the "Podcrushed" podcast, where she recalled telling children during a Q&A that she would have liked to dine with Dahmer, who killed and dismembered 17 men between 1978 and 1991.

"I was infatuated with serial killers when I was younger," she said during the interview. And the twisted man remains her dream dinner guest. "I think I would have loved to have met him," she added. "You know, maybe with a third party or someone involved. But I have questions."

The late serial killer has become a subject of fascination for true crime enthusiasts, with several TV shows and documentaries focusing on his heinous crimes. However, victims' families have condemned these depictions, arguing that they retraumatize them and exploit their tragedy.

In the case of Dahmer, Shirley Hughes expressed her disappointment that Grande did not reach out to any of the victims' families before making her revelation. She stated, "Until it happens to her and her family, she just doesn't know what we have been through."
