Ariana Grande has revealed her fascination with serial killers and how it almost got her in trouble after telling young fans she wanted to go on a date with the notorious Jeffrey Dahmer.

During a Q&A session with young fans, Grande was asked who she would like to have dinner with, dead or alive. Without hesitation, she replied, "Jeffrey Dahmer." She explained her fascination with the serial killer, but the parents of the fans were not amused.
"The parents were like, 'We'll explain it later, sweetie,'" Grande recalled.
Despite the controversial answer, Grande's fascination with serial killers has unknowingly influenced her music video casting. In the video for "We Can't Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)," she starred alongside Evan Peters, who portrayed Dahmer in the Emmy-winning series "Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story."
Badgley, who also starred in Grande's "The Boy Is Mine" video, jokingly referred to her album "Eternal Sunshine" as a "serial killer tour." Grande acknowledged the connection but dismissed it as a coincidence.
However, Badgley's role as Joe Goldberg in the Netflix series "You" may have played a role in Grande's decision to reach out to him for the "The Boy Is Mine" video. The idea to cast Badgley originated from the video's director, Christian Breslauer.
