AceShowbiz - "House of the Dragon" fans can be brutal. Actor Fabien Frankel fell victim to online harassment from fans, forcing the Criston Cole depicter to limit comments on his recent posts.

In screenshots of the comments section of the actor's posts, some fans of the "Game of Thrones" prequel appeared to leave hate comments directed to his character on the hit HBO series. "Where were you when heir to the throne was murdered?" one asked, referencing the death of Lucerys Targaryen.

"How did you go from being the most liked character and became the worst character in GOT history," another commented. "I hate you criston," someone else added, with another comment read, "Man I hope someone jumps this guy."

Upon catching wind of the harassment, some other fans came to Fabien's defense and blasted the haters. "Do people not know what an Actor is… tf ? Do they expect him to read these comments and think hmm gee okay I'll just change up the script for the next episode," one person said.

"ya know ya played tf out of that role when people hate you for it," praising Fabien's performance, one other pointed out. "You all better not make him stop acting like you did with Joffrey," another fan, referring to Jack Gleeson who played Joffrey Targaryen on "Game of Thrones".

Fabien wasn't the only "House of the Dragon" star who faced online trolls. Prior to this, Ewan Mitchell, who portrays Aemond Targaryen on the series, was body shamed following his nude scene. Defending Ewan, a fan wrote, "seeing a lot of people making fun of someone's body genuinely pisses me off. its fine if you dislike a character but there is no need to comment on a actor's appearance."

"Meme culture in this fandom is absolutely despicable. 1st the feet jokes. Now the body-shaming of an actor's REAL physique. One would think we have progressed beyond this as a society, esp in 2024, but nooo. Fan acc with large followers esp need to work on qc before posting," another fan said, calling out the online trolls.
