The 'Not Like Us' hitmaker, who has been feuding with Drake, reportedly takes extra precautions to ensure his and his team's safety when they film 'all over Compton.'

AceShowbiz - Kendrick Lamar allegedly has taken extra precautions to ensure his and his team's safety. It was reported that the "Not Like Us" hitmaker had hired Los Angeles Sheriff's deputies for extra security during the filming of his new music video.

On Friday, June 21, TMZ broke the news about the hip-hop artist's plans for his upcoming project. Some law enforcement sources spilled to the media outlet that the rapper, who is also famous as K.Dot, "will be filming his new music video in Compton."

It was noted as "a perfect homecoming for K. Dot on the heels of his triumphant Juneteenth show Wednesday night at the KIA Forum in nearby Inglewood." The sources went on to reveal, "Kendrick's team got all the proper permits needed to pull off the project and the L.A. County Sheriff's Dept. will send deputies for extra security during the music [video] shoot."

However, the insiders did not unveil "how many deputies have been tapped for the gig," claiming that it was "for security reasons." It was said that the filming "is set to take place all over Compton" and "Kendrick's production company is paying around $120 an hour to have them on hand."

According to the informants, "police are aware" of Kendrick's feud with fellow hip-hop artist Drake. They stated that "no known threats have surfaced at this time." Though so, "the authorities are still taking it seriously and keeping an eye on social media for any drama."

The tension between Kendrick and Drake, who is also known as Drizzy, got heated after K.Dot released collaborative track "Like That" to diss the latter. Since then, the two had been exchanging diss songs, including K.Dot's "Euphoria" and "Not Like Us".

The situation got worse when a security guard got shot at Drizzy's Toronto estate in May amid the rap beef. However, Drizzy stopped publicly shading K.Dot following the release of "Not Like Us".

More than one month after dropping "Euphoria" on April 30 and "Not Like Us" on May 4, Kendrick belted out the tracks for the first time at his "The Pop Out - Ken and Friends" concert in Los Angeles. He kicked off the show, which was held on Wednesday, June 19, with a performance of "Euphoria" and delivered "Not Like Us" at least five times.
