AceShowbiz - Howie Mandel has revealed more about the alarming accident involving his wife, Terry Mandel, in Las Vegas. After initially stating that Terry was "tipsy" during their night out, Howie has now clarified that she was not under the influence of alcohol but had instead consumed gummies containing THC.

"She doesn't have an alcohol problem," Howie told TMZ. "She took gummies. She was on pot."

The "America's Got Talent" judge recounted that after a night of partying, he and Terry returned to their hotel room and went to bed. In the middle of the night, Terry got up disoriented and stumbled into the wall, causing her to fall and hit her face on the wainscoting.

"I heard 'Bang!' and then 'Ah!' " Howie recalled. "She went, 'I don't know!' I went, 'Where are you?' "

Terry sustained a deep gash on her forehead, broken cheek and severe bruising around her eye. Howie shared a graphic photo of her injuries, leaving him horrified.

"When [the cans of soda] didn't work, I saw the bone," Howie said. "I freaked. I freaked. And I went, 'Oh my God, this is the love of my life.' "

Calling down to the front desk, Howie requested an ambulance, but hotel security arrived first and questioned him about the incident. Terry clarified that it was an accident.

However, upon returning from the hospital, Terry had a humorous revelation. "She goes, 'Howie, I promise I'll be a good girl and never say that again,' " Howie said, referring to a remark she had made earlier.

Despite her injuries, Terry has made a full recovery, and Howie remains grateful for her well-being. He emphasized, "She is absolutely perfect. She is beautiful."

Howie also joked that the incident had one positive takeaway, "Marriage isn't easy."
