AceShowbiz - Chrisean Rock will need to wait a little longer to get her freedom back. The "Crazy in Love" star, who was arrested earlier this month, has been sentenced to spend 30 days behind bars.
According to Public records from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, the 24-year-old was sentenced on June 14 as a result of the altercation that happened at Tamar Braxton's show in November 2023. Meanwhile, the original date of arrest is listed as June 10.
Chrisean is reportedly being held at a facility in Lynwood. Her legal issue doesn't stop there though since The Oklahoma Department of Corrections still lists the reality star as a fugitive, with alleged offenses shown as including possession of a controlled dangerous substance in 2022.
Chrisean was handcuffed on a felony fugitive warrant upon entering a courthouse in the San Fernando Valley with her nine-month-old son Chrisean Jr. The arrest took place during a court hearing for her ex Blueface, who is currently serving a jail sentence for probation violations.
According to sources including TMZ, five Los Angeles Police Department officers were already at the courthouse, awaiting Chrisean's arrival. As soon as she walked in, she was handcuffed and taken into custody. Her son was removed from her by the officers.
In a recent Instagram Live session, Chrisean openly discussed her legal situation, acknowledging her status as a fugitive but stating that she was trying to resolve the matter without turning herself in. "I have my son. The old me would have just turned myself in and dealt with it. The inside through the outside of jail. Whatever. Right now, I gotta play it cautious ’cause I don't plan on being in jail while my son is growing," she said.
