Ted Danson, known for his iconic roles on television, showed that his talents extend beyond acting when he came to the rescue of his friend and former 'Cheers' costar Woody Harrelson after a motorcycle accident.

AceShowbiz - Ted Danson, the celebrated actor best known for his roles in "Cheers" and "Becker", added a new title to his repertoire recently: real-life savior. Danson stepped up to help his friend and former costar Woody Harrelson after Harrelson was involved in a motorcycle accident. Harrelson recounted the incident on the "Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend" podcast, where he appeared alongside Danson.

Harrelson detailed the circumstances leading up to the accident, explaining, "I was passing this Tesla on the left that I thought was moving a little slow but I didn't realize he was moving slow because he's taking a left."

Fortunately, despite the collision, Harrelson assured the audience of his condition. "There was some pain involved, but I never thought I'd be killed or anything," he said, downplaying the gravity of the accident.

When Harrelson arrived for the podcast interview, it was Danson who came to his aid, effectively moonlighting as a doctor. "I wrapped it and I thought it looked funnier that way," Danson remarked about bandaging Harrelson's injured hand. This impromptu medical assistance drew laughs and surprise, particularly from host Conan O'Brien, who humorously questioned why they hadn't called a real doctor.

The duo's humorous chemistry continued as Harrelson recalled, "We're in the bathroom and I was like, 'You played a doctor, right?' " referring to Danson's role on the CBS sitcom "Becker". Danson cheekily replied, "Yeah, I also played a lawyer, so we could sue the guy."

Harrelson and Danson were on the podcast to promote their new "Cheers"-inspired show, "Where Everybody Knows Your Name". This podcast reconnects the longtime friends thirty years after the end of the classic sitcom, featuring conversations with special guests like Will Arnett, Jane Fonda, Martin Short, Laura Dern, Eric Andre, and Mary Steenburgen.

The storied friendship and vibrant personalities of Harrelson and Danson are sure to captivate audiences once again, as they dive beyond the career highlights and into personal anecdotes. As always, the iconic duo demonstrates their unmistakable charm both on and off the screen.
