AceShowbiz - Teyana Taylor reportedly brings home almost double [Iman Shumpert]'s monthly income. The former NBA star brought up the claims in legal documents pertaining to their divorce, asserting that he shouldn't have to pay as much child support as he's currently paying.

As reported by TMZ, the athlete claimed that he brings home approximately $47,981 each month before taxes. His estranged wife, in the meantime, is netting $98,885 each month.

Iman stated that he's currently paying $8,000 a month in child support. Although he doesn't mind forking out the amount, he said he wants to split the cost of health services for their kids outside of "major" medical expenses.

This contradicts Teyana's claims in the divorce filing in 2023, in which she said that he was jealous of her fame and asked her not to work only to complain that she wasn't bringing in enough money for their family. Iman made a substantial amount of money during his NBA career, with a total of $48 million in contracts with various teams. However, he hasn't played professionally since the 2021 season.

Teyana and Iman tried to go through their divorce process out of the public eye, but its details kept leaking online, prompting Teyana to put TMZ on blast in January of this year. "Yo @tmz are you serious????" the singer kicked off her lengthy rant. "Y'all really be taking it too far with these d*mn misleading headlines and I'm tired of it! Every time I turn around it's either half leaked and made up stories, or words being twisted up for clickbait!!!! I kindly asked you mothaf%ckas to mind ya damn business, and for y'all to respect me and my family's privacy."
