AceShowbiz - Adele has proven that she is willing to suffer for the sake of fashion. During a recent concert, the "Set Fire to the Rain" singer told her fans that she may "pass out" onstage due to her undergarments being "a size small."
When taking the stage in Las Vegas for her "Weekends with Adele" recently, the 36-year-old songstress candidly shared that she was rocking a pair of too-small Spanx. The hilarious moment was documented in a video that was uploaded to TikTok by a fan.
In the 30-second clip, it could be seen that Adele was sitting on a chair near a huge white piano and speaking to a packed audience. She said, "I had to put these Spanx on that were a size small." About how she managed to fit in the undergarments, she recalled, "It was like pumping sausage meat."
The "Make You Feel My Love" songstress went on to explain, "It was so stressful and I was contemplating maybe I don't go on in a pair of Spanx tonight, but I was like 'Oh no, that's too risky. What if something breaks with it, falls, and I'm naked on, you know, whoop, in front of people?' I don't know."
"Anyway, but I managed to get into them and it made me look great," she continued. While joking, she stated, "But I'm nervous, maybe my blood's going to get cut off or something, So, if I pass out half way through the show, don't worry, that is why," prompting the concertgoers to burst into laughter.
For her residency, Adele opted to wear a skin-tight black dress that was long enough to reach her lower legs. The gown came with two long sleeves, a low-cut V-neck design, strap on the wearer's upper chest and glittery silver belt on her bodice.
The "Someone Like You" singer, who looked stunning with her full makeup, completed the look with a pair of big hoop earrings. In addition, her long blonde tresses were styled in a simple straight hairdo and parted in the middle.
