AceShowbiz - Abbi Jacobson and Jodi Balfour have officially tied the knot! The couple announced their marriage on Wednesday, June 5, through an interview with Cultured Magazine and a series of heartwarming Instagram posts.

After a romantic first meeting during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jacobson and Balfour exchanged vows at Public Records in New York City. Their intimate wedding took place indoors due to inclement weather, creating an unexpected yet intimate ambiance.

"We got married!" Balfour exclaimed in her Instagram caption, accompanying photos of their special day. For their ceremony, both actresses opted for "off-the-rack" dresses from The Row, the clothing brand owned by Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. Jacobson chose a strapless black mermaid dress while Balfour opted for a traditional white sheath gown.

"Thanks Mary-Kate," Jacobson joked to Cultured Magazine, expressing their gratitude for the Olsen twins. Despite the change in plans, the couple described their wedding ceremony as "exactly what we'd hoped for."

"People were packed together," Jacobson explained. "When we looked out at the audience, our friends were on stools, peeking through the plants, and sitting on top of the booths. I've never been to a wedding like that."

The reception was equally unique, with the couple donning vintage dresses and dancing the night away with their closest friends and family. "Everyone's nice clothes became wet rags. People were smoking who don't smoke. Our moms did the hora. It was like we all existed in a different dimension for a while," Balfour described.

Jacobson and Balfour first went public with their relationship in October 2021. Two years later, they announced their engagement and made their red carpet debut at the premiere of Jacobson's Prime Video series, "A League of Their Own".
