The comedian returns to the stage with a comedy show in Los Angeles, drawing support from A-list celebrities including the couple, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner.

AceShowbiz - Ellen DeGeneres made a triumphant return to stand-up comedy at Largo at the Coronet in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, surrounded by a star-studded audience. The 66-year-old comedian showcased her comedic skills after a hiatus of two years, following allegations of a "toxic" workplace on her former daytime talk show.

Among the celebrities in attendance were Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom. Perry arrived in a revealing gray zip-up bodysuit and baggy cargo pants, while Bloom sported a casual look with a UNICEF hoodie and cargo pants.

Khloe Kardashian and her mother Kris Jenner also showed their support. Khloe opted for an all-black ensemble that highlighted her athletic figure, while Kris looked elegant in a black jacket and pants.

The show was a much-anticipated return for DeGeneres, who has been working on a new stand-up tour and preparing for what she claims will be her final comedy special. In April, she performed at Largo and complained about being labeled "the most hated person in America," saying the scandal had made her a recluse.

The controversy surrounding "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" erupted in 2020, when former employees accused executives of fostering a toxic work environment that allowed for bullying, sexual harassment, and racist statements. An investigation by WarnerMedia resulted in the firing of three executives, and DeGeneres apologized for not being aware of the alleged incidents.

Despite her apology, DeGeneres later described the controversy as a "coordinated misogynistic" attack, claiming she couldn't have known everything that was happening on her show, which employed around 225 people. She announced the end of her long-running series in 2022 after 19 seasons.

Katy Perry, who is rumored to be preparing for a musical comeback, teased her new era in a series of recent social media posts. She updated her profile pictures and website branding with a Y2K-inspired logo and red background. Fans speculated that the changes hinted at upcoming music releases.

DeGeneres' return to stand-up was well-received by the star-studded audience, who showed their support for the comedian's return to the stage.
